Africa Day
Africa Day is returning this May – and is set to be bigger and better than ever!
Events will be held in every county in Ireland to mark the day that celebrates Ireland’s growing links with the continent of Africa.
Irish Aid is working with local authorities all over Ireland to plan a nationwide series of events.
A flagship event will be held in Dublin’s Royal Hospital Kilmainham (RHK) on May 19th. This free, family day will see musicians, dancers and cultural groups from across Africa gather to celebrate Africa Day. This follows last year’s successful Africa Day event at RHK, which attracted over 6,000 people.
If you are part of an African cultural groups and would be interested in taking part in Dublin’s Africa Day celebration at the RHK, please complete this expression of interest form [Link: https://forms.gle/xnyJvcdtQzJDLaz68 ]
