Behind-the-Scenes at the Launch of Africa Day 2017

The Africa Day 2017 launch took place on Thursday, 6th April at Farmleigh Estate in the Phoenix Park. At the launch, Joe McHugh TD, Minister of State for the Diaspora and International Development, announced the programme of events to mark Africa Day 2017, supported by Irish Aid.

Participants at the launch included Salome Mbugua, Africa Day Champion; Onai Tafuma, Africa Day Champion; Timi Martins, Africa Day Champion; Discovery Gospel Choir, Africa Day main stage performers; BARQ, Africa Day main stage performers; a number of representatives from the African embassies in Ireland; and Dublin Bus representatives.
