The official launch took place on Monday, 25th of May from 2-5pm in The Strand Hotel and featured speakers from the local African community and Irish Aid (booking necessary).

On Tuesday, 26th May, the University of Limerick hosted an Ethiopian modern dance performance in the Tower Theatre featuring Ras Mikey.

On Thursday, 28th of May from 10.30am-12.30pm, Watch House Cross Community Library hosted interactive school workshops involving art and drumming.

Finally, a family fun day will be taking place on Sunday, 31st May at the Milk Market on Mungret Street, featuring music, dance, song, a fashion show and a range of activities for all ages.
