NC Grey is a Soul singer/songwriter. She is influenced by icons like Stevie Wonder, James Brown and Jill Scott. Growing up in church choirs, it is easy to hear the subtle gospel undertones in her voice and the relatability of her lyrics. After spending years shuttling between Ireland, the UK and Nigeria, her sound carries many elements and is influenced by Afro-Soul, Jazz, Funk and Motown. Kiruu is a multi-instrumentalist and singer of Irish-English origins whose eclectic sound has been formed with influence from his East African upbringing and European roots in Ireland, the UK, and Spain. His music is interactive and his sound varies from slow indie to stomping swing and everything in between, as well as being sung in a variety of languages (English, Swahili, Spanish, and French). Based in Dublin, Kiruu plays both solo sets and with band consisting of himself and dynamic and diverse musicians from the Dublin scene, providing a high energy live show.
In 2014, Kiruu released his EP “Kiruu & Baobab”, which was recorded in Valencia. Following this, he toured in East Africa, France, Belgium, and the UK. Settling back in Ireland, he launched an EP in late 2014, and has been performing around Ireland since then. In 2015, Kiruu signed a publishing contract with GD78 Music. Kiruu has performed and collaborated in different musical projects in Ireland, England, Spain, Argentina, France, Tanzania, Belgium, and Kenya both as front man and as pianist, guitarist and singer. He is a tenor in the Dublin Gospel Choir, and also does musical theatre. Some of Kiruu’s notable gigs to date include performances at Electric Picnic in 2015, Culture Night in 2014 and 2015, and Bluefire Street Festival in 2015. He has also performed numerous Dublin venues such as Whelan’s, Sweeney’s, and The Grand Social.
Strange Attractor are a genre embracing band formed in Dingle, Co. Kerry. In their 3 years together they have played Electric Picnic, The Cork Jazz festival and toured Germany among many other performances. Since releasing their debut album “Wacky World” and the first single “I Got This Feeling (I’m Dead)” from their upcoming album, they have sold out the PAV in Cork and The Workman’s Club in Dublin, whilst playing extensively. The band do not limit themselves musically, as they blend elements of popular music with Rock, Funk, Reggae, Jazz and other genres. The brass section help deliver high energy, and captivating performances.
